Barcelona stars Luis Suarez, Andres Iniesta and Marc-Andre ter Stegen are set to get new deals with the clubs, according to reports.

Luis Suarez joined from Liverpool in a big-money move but could renew his contract in December based on reports in the Catalan press.

Pep Guardiola’s brother Pere – who is Suarez’s agent – reportedly met with the club towards the end of the month of September regarding a deal that will see Suarez spend many more years at the Camp Nou. The proposed deal will ensure the Uruguayan plays till he is 34 years. Another Barcelona news outlet say the club will pay the talented striker €16 million in annual payments in the new deal. This would ensure he earns as much as Neymar who signed a deal with the club not too long ago.

Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu already confirmed that the 29-year old would get a new deal after Neymar, Javier Mascherano and Sergio Busquets got theirs. Suarez is arguably the best striker in the world, and doesn’t lack admirers.

The deal was to also to ensure his income increased after proving a success at Camp Nou since moving from England. His 40 goals of last season was the highest by a player. He broke the Messi-Ronaldo stranglehold of the La Liga since Diego Forlan in 2009. This necessitated his salary increase in line with top stars in the game.

Andres Iniesta is set to end his career with Barcelona, and this new deal would ensure that happens. His current deal ends in 2018, but he is set to get a two-year extension. After Claudio Bravo left for England this summer, Barcelona are open to extending Ter Stegen’s deal till 2021. This would mean his salary is increased and release clause raised as well.
