Enrique Looks For Superstar Players

The new manager of Barcelona, Luis Enrique, is looking to have quite a few superstar players at his disposal in his debut season at Camp Nou.

The three big names whose services Enrique is looking to secure this summer are Marquinhos (Brazil), Luis Suarez (Uruguay) and Juan Cuadrado (Colombia).

The 44-year old former Spanish striker is a great fan of all the above mentioned players and is planning to place a bid for them pretty soon. He is believed to be ready to spend an amount in excess of 100 million Euros for the trio.
Enrique would put a couple of players including Alex Song and Alexis Sanchez on sale as well.

The Catalan Giants had not managed to defend their Premier League crown last season. They had ended up at no. 2 in the table behind the champions Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona could win only 27 games during their last La Liga campaign and remained three points behind Atletico.

Their goal differential was pretty good though and if they had won one more game, they would have lifted the trophy.
However, Gerardo Martino, the man in charge at Camp Nou during the season, took full responsibility of team’s failure of defending the crown and he resigned from his post after which Enrique has been given the charge.

Now, the expectations with Enrique would be very high in the upcoming season and he himself knows that. That’s why; he has been leaving no stone unturned since his appointment. He is looking to make the team stronger and stronger by signing the players who are approaching their peak.

Enrique’s tenures at his previous two clubs i.e. at Roma and Celta have been brief. He would not want his tenure at Camp Nou to be the same, that’s for sure.
