Cesc Fabregas returns in training

Cesc Fabregas, the Barca midfielder, has come back to training as he continues his convalescence from a knee wound, stated that the La Liga leaders earlier on Monday. Cese damaged his right knee ligaments in the 4 - 1 victory against Real Betis on 10th November and he had to withdraw from the national squad for friendly matches against South Africa and Equatorial Guinea.

On their website, Barcelona stated that the FC Barcelona players returned to training this rainy Monday afternoon after enjoying the weekend off and Cesc participated in the session. Barcelona's Spain defenders Jordi Alba and Gerard Pique continued to work apart from their mates as they cover their convalescence from injury.

The undefeated champs, who host Granada earlier on Saturday, top the La Liga table by just 3 points from Atletico Madrid after thirteen games, with rivals Real Madrid a further 3 points adrift in 3rd spot.

According to reports, Spanish giants Barcelona have started dialogues with Italian club Napoli regarding the transfer of Juan Camilo Zuniga. There were reports that Barcelona has an advantage in the run to get Camilo as a clause in his current deal at Napoli reportedly lets him to join Barcelona for a cut price fee of £ 12.5 million. On the other hand, Real Madrid is also keen to sign the Colombia footballer. But, in the midst of all these, Barca is leading the run up to sign Camilo.
